Pa drafodaethau y mae yr Ysgrifennydd Cabinet wedi'u cael gyda phartneriaid ynghylch sut y gallai dadfuddsoddi pensiwn y sector cyhoeddus fod o fudd i economi Cymru?
Not all public sector pension schemes are underpinned by investment funds and whilst the Welsh Government cannot determine the investment policies of these schemes, we would wish to see those with responsibility for such funds encouraging economically and environmentally sustainable investments.

We work with local authorities across the Cardiff Capital Region, including Caerphilly, to increase economic prosperity, in line with our Economic Mission. Additionally, since 2016, the Business Wales service has supported the creation of 1,454 jobs, 298 new start businesses and provided support to 1,974 individuals and businesses in Caerphilly.

The creation of sustainable jobs from green growth is a pillar of our Economic Mission and a priority for this Government. There are enormous net zero opportunities across Wales due to its natural environment to support business growth and also developing new technologies

Plans to improve ambulance performance are characterised by actions within the gift of the Welsh Ambulance Services Trust; Health Boards’ Six Goals programme plans; and joint plans with Local Authorities to improve patient flow. We have provided £180m additional funding to support these plans and established national programmes to enable their delivery.

The majority of practices in North Wales have chosen to work under a variation of contract that incentivises prevention and risk and needs based treatment. As a result more than 71,000 new patients in the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board area have gained access to NHS dental care.

Health boards are responsible for setting fees for CHC providers, and received funding to support demand and inflationary pressures in allocations for 2024/25. The LA fee rate is set by ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement. The National Commissioning Board also provides methodologies to support local commissioners with national fee setting.

Our draft Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy sets out our 10-year approach to improve mental health and wellbeing. This includes embedding the national framework for social prescribing to support the needs of communities and working with Regional Partnership Boards to further develop our NYTH/NEST Implementation and share good practice.
