Good morning. Bore da. Welcome to today's meeting of the Finance Committee. In accordance with Standing Order 17.22, I call for nominations for a temporary Chair for the next two meetings. Can I ask for nominations, please?

Diolch yn fawr iawn ichi am y cyfle i gadeirio. Mae yna nifer o eitemau gennym ni ar yr agenda bore yma, ond mi gychwynnaf i jest drwy eich croesawu chi’n ffurfiol, a hefyd unrhyw aelodau o’r cyhoedd sydd yn tiwnio i mewn i wrando arnom ni, i’n cyfarfod y bore yma. A gaf i nodi hefyd fod y clustffonau ar gael, wrth gwrs, ar eich cyfer chi, a bod y cyfieithu ar sianel 1 a’r sain ar sianel 0? A gaf i hefyd ofyn ichi sicrhau bod unrhyw ddyfeisiadau electronig wedi’u distewi, a hefyd ofyn a oes yna unrhyw ymddiheuriadau? Rydw i’n gwybod bod yna ymddiheuriad wedi dod gan Steffan Lewis, ac rydw i’n gweld bod pawb arall yn bresennol.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to chair. We have several items on the agenda this morning, but I'll start by just welcoming you formally, and also any members of the public who are tuning in to listen to us, to this morning's meeting. Could I note also that the headsets are available, and that the translation is on channel 1 and the amplification is on channel 0? Could I also ask you to ensure that any electronic devices are on silent, and ask whether Members have any apologies? I know that we've had an apology from Steffan Lewis, and I can see that everyone else is present.

So, we'll turn to the second item.
We'll turn to the second item on our agenda, which is the papers to note. I'd invite Members to note paper to note 1, which is a letter from the Minister for Children, Older People and Social Care on the inter-ministerial group on paying for social care; paper to note 2, which is a letter from the Cabinet Secretary for Finance on the Welsh Government's first supplementary budget for 2018-19; and the minutes of the last meeting, held on 11 July 2018. Are we content to note those? Yes. Diolch yn fawr.
