Cofnodir y trafodion yn yr iaith y llefarwyd hwy ynddi yn y pwyllgor. Yn ogystal, cynhwysir trawsgrifiad o’r cyfieithu ar y pryd. Lle mae cyfranwyr wedi darparu cywiriadau i’w tystiolaeth, nodir y rheini yn y trawsgrifiad.
The proceedings are reported in the language in which they were spoken in the committee. In addition, a transcription of the simultaneous interpretation is included. Where contributors have supplied corrections to their evidence, these are noted in the transcript.
Dechreuodd y cyfarfod am 14:00.
The meeting began at 14:00.
Good afternoon. Can I welcome everyone to this afternoon's meeting of the External Affairs and Additional Legislation Committee? Can I remind Members that the meeting is bilingual? If you require simultaneous translation from Welsh to English, that's available on the headphones via channel 1. If you require amplification, that's available on the headphones via channel 0. Can I remind everyone to turn their mobile phones either off or on to silent, please, for the remainder of the meeting, to ensure that it doesn't interfere with the broadcasting equipment? There are no scheduled fire alarms this afternoon, so if one does take place, please follow the directions of the ushers to the nearest place. We have received apologies from Jack Sargeant and Jenny Rathbone, but no substitutes have been identified. Before we move on, I'd like to put on record my thanks to Suzy Davies and Mark Isherwood for their time as active and participative members of this committee. Their contributions have been very helpful in forming some of our considerations. Could I also now therefore welcome Mark Reckless and David Melding as their replacements on the committee? I look forward to their conclusions and their contributions as we move ahead.
Thank you.
Thank you.
The next item on the agenda is papers to note. You'll see again that we have several papers to note. Most of them are issues that we will discuss in item 4, as they are responses to our request for further information on the preparedness of the Welsh Government for Brexit. Are Members content to note them as a block—papers 1 to 7?
Content.
Therefore, we note those.
Cynnig:
bod y pwyllgor yn penderfynu gwahardd y cyhoedd o weddill y cyfarfod yn unol â Rheol Sefydlog 17.42(vi).
Motion:
that the committee resolves to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting in accordance with Standing Order 17.42(vi).
Cynigiwyd y cynnig.
Motion moved.
The next item on the agenda is actually now to move Standing Order 17.42(vi) to exclude the public from the remainder of this meeting, for consideration of other matters. Are Members content to do so? We therefore now move into private session.
Derbyniwyd y cynnig.
Daeth rhan gyhoeddus y cyfarfod i ben am 14:02.
Motion agreed.
The public part of the meeting ended at 14:02.
