A wnaiff y Cwnsler Cyffredinol ddarparu dadansoddiad manwl o'r costau a dalwyd gan Lywodraeth Cymru mewn perthynas â gwrandawiad y Goruchaf Lys yr wythnos hon ynghylch addoediad Senedd y DU?
The following information is based on invoices received up to the 25 September, this figure will increase on receipt of further invoices for Counsel’s fees. All figures are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).
The total cost to the Welsh Government of intervening in the Supreme Court proceedings is £10,605.70
This figure includes:
- External Counsel’s fees: £4,933.50
- Court fees (including application fee, meeting rooms and associated costs): £1,680.60
- Travel and accommodation for Welsh Government lawyers in attendance: £3,991.60
In addition to the cost relating to the Supreme Court, a further £450.61 was incurred in relation to a Welsh Government lawyer attending the Outer House of the Court of Session hearing of Cherry & Others v Advocate General, and £11,170.50 was incurred in respect of the High Court proceedings on Miller v The Prime Minister.
Therefore, the total expenditure in respect of the cases relating to prorogation has been £22,388.81, as determined by invoices received up to the 25 September 2019.
