The National Procurement Service for Wales (NPS) currently provides opportunities for Welsh public sector organisations to hire or lease electric vehicles through two of its existing frameworks.
Work on developing a vehicle purchase framework for the Welsh public sector is advancing well. This will be advertised on sell2wales in due course. All suppliers are free to register an interest against this framework opportunity. For its own requirements, the Welsh Government can access electric vehicles through the existing NPS vehicle lease and hire frameworks, and will use the vehicle purchase framework when let for any future vehicle purchases.
