The Welsh Government does not hold information you have requested as it is an operational matter for the airport, however my officials have been advised by Cardiff Airport that the standby generators are tested on a weekly basis and are run for 15 minutes. They also automatically start when the airport has ‘low visibility procedures’ and would run until the low visibility conditions abate. Since installation/commissioning in August 2018, they have run a total of 75 hours.
