The Welsh Government has a trade and investment team based at the British Embassy in Japan and officials have successfully worked with Welsh seafood businesses to develop trade in Japan.
Welsh Government officials also work in partnership with Department for International Trade (DIT) colleagues co-located at the British Embassy in Tokyo. Together, they pursue a wide range of Welsh seafood products, which could be introduced to the Japanese market.
