A wnaiff Ysgrifennydd y Cabinet ddarparu rhestr o'r prosiectau peilot a gynhelir gan y Bwrdd Datblygu Arweinyddiaeth Cenedlaethol, ynghyd â'u dangosyddion mesur a'u canlyniadau?

The National Leadership Development Board (NLDB) ran from November 2013 until it was dissolved in June 2016. Its role was defined as follows: 

 

“…..to provide targeted advice and guidance to help develop leadership capacity in Wales. As part of this role, it will monitor, review and evaluate the measures to be taken to by the Welsh Government and others to enhance and develop leadership capacity and advise on what specific actions will ensure further improvement. It will also champion agreed approaches to building leadership capacity and promulgate good practice within the sector”

 

The NLDB did not undertake any pilot projects but offered advice to support policy development on a wide range of issues relating to school leadership and workforce development including:

  • Professional development provision for current headteachers
  • Professional development provision for executive headteachers
  • Career and Leadership Development Pathways
  • Individual Leadership Review
  • Leadership milestone matrix
  • A self improving school system
  • Review of Professional Standards
  • Creating positivity around headship
  • The National Professional Qualification for Headship
  • Future masters provision
  • Leadership Strategy
