The Animal Welfare Code for Cats is currently being revised. This will provide an opportunity to strengthen the advice provided relating to the breeding and selling of kittens and cats. We will consult on the draft code before autumn recess. In addition, we continue to endorse the work of the Pet Advertising Advisory Council covering issues such as the responsible advertising and sourcing of pets.
