A progress report, the first since the delivery plan was published just eight months ago, is due to be published on the 10th July. There is already evidence of positive change in the Valleys as a direct result of the actions set out in the delivery plan. Although we are still collecting data to underpin this change, the progress report will demonstrate what high level actions have already taken place.
Each action and milestone in Our Valleys, Our Future will be reviewed over the summer and we will publish an updated delivery plan in November 2018. The updated plan will reflect milestones delivered as well as reviewing and updating those not progressing as well as expected or where changes have been agreed. In these instances the plan will outline how we intend to move forward.
The updated delivery plan will also provide an opportunity to consider new actions and programmes, which will make a positive difference to the South Wales Valleys.
